Need to export data into a popular office suite just filter the data and export it. Use the page size to define how many rows of data you want to view at one time, then use the pagination control to move through the additional pages.

Rather than limit the user to a fixed view of their data VFB moves beyond the traditional layout with user defined dynamic layout. Select from 70+ different data elements and arrange them in relevant order. Some data elements allow for on the fly updates to the system and others create item templates which combine several relevant data fields into a single meaningful element. Create as many views as necessary and switch between them on the fly. Combined with extensive filtering this gives the user unmatched visibility into the data on the system. Each user can have an unlimited set of their own views that are relevant to their needs.

Zones are a useful tool when relevant entities need to be grouped into distinct patterns. For example you might need a list of carriers who service a zone called NE (North East). The system should pull any carrier associated with the zone NE. VFB makes extensive use of zones allowing the user to define zones for shipments, and carriers. These zones can be used when filtering shipments or carriers.

Shipment Zones

Shipment zones consist of the source which indicates whether the zone applies to the origin, destination or both. The type is which field the zone should be applied to. The three types are Zip which uses the five digit zip, three digit zip, and state. The actual zone detail will be determined by what type the user selected. If its zip code then it would be a series of zips otherwise states.

Carrier Zones

Carrier zones are user configurable and as many patterns as needed can be created. Once the zones are setup then they need to be assigned to each carrier that is associated with that zone. For example there might be a zone called SE which is then associated with a carrier. Anytime a search is done against the carriers for SE the carriers that have SE as a zone will be included in the results. Zones are completely free form so they are limited only to the imagination.

VFB is designed with a familiar menu panel to make navigating the system effortless. When not in use the menu panel collapses out of the way which gives the user the most screen visibility.

With VFB you define what's meaningful and the terms that will be used throughout the system. Rather than provide some hard-coded terms with limited flexibility VFB allows total control over them. For example status codes can be setup so that they are meaningful to your operation. Rather than limiting the user to a few status codes build as many as necessary.

You’ll find that this type of flexibility is used throughout VFB making it more extensible.

Let VFB help you manage your data by providing you with alerts to possible issues. There are several alerts that can be run at any time to help you with missed exceptions. For example you have carriers that have insurance and the insurance has expiration dates. Run the carrier insurance alert by selecting an expiration date range to view the carriers who have insurances expiration dates within the selected range. The date range can be any period so that you can be proactive about expired/expiring insurance.
